Sorry for my lack of posting lately, but things have been changing for me in more ways than one. I spent the week packing and getting ready for a move, on that extended vacay tip. So, I havent been able to get online. But I'm back and better than ever. Im starting to realize if you aren't chasing happiness then you're just wasting time. What's my happiness? Family, Food, LOVE, friends, CLOTHES and a good pair of shoes. & now being added to that list, is success and the pursuit of it. I've got a long way to go, a long road to travel....but my bags are packed and I'm ready to go. LETS DO THIS.

PRMVTE: P A S S E

I never really add people I dont know on now dead MySpace, but sometimes something just strikes me about the default and I have to click accept. Such was the case with Thee Mark. Come to find out he is the at the head of this movement and clothing company called PRMTVE:PASSE. At first I was struck by the way they mixed high end designer clothes with kicks, or sweatshirts and heels; an all over fusion of what is considered High and what is considered Low. Low being streetwear. Personally I do that with my own style, rockin' some hellz with my 5 inch stilletos and Louis Vuitton bags. Im all for new horizons, innovative styling, and this is exactly what Passe offered me. I knew I had to do a blog post on them because they need some props; these kids look like they could be chillin' with Kanye in his Sartorialist shots; and come to find out they actually rub elbows with 'Ye himself's advisor. Read on.


I ,Rhuigi Mark or "Thee Mark", along with my sister Rhoxanne have always had a vision and attachment with history and art as a kid. Passe has always been in us ever since I was a kid drawing dragonball on our walls in our Saudi Arabia place or building gundams in our Philippine house. But, the name formed a few years ago essentially to epitomize culture and history(since I was a history geek) in a word. Which at that time was PRIMITIVE, but due to some problems we became PRMTVE and what is now Passe'; which is a french word used to describe "something that has been done"--it carries a big negative connotation in the word. But, we like it, we believe in it. Using a negative as a positive; after all our past isn't so pretty. A name isn't really something that I can give to such a broad vision and a direct focus, for now I believe (Prmtve)Passe is a name that we use to distinguish ourselves.So with that being said, it's just a word to represent the knowledge of our past and the idea that our society is formed from our past. Plus as pathetic as this sounds the word sounds amazing! At the end of the day it's what produced is what counts and never limit ourselves within the idea of the name.

Blog/Site Purpose: We had initially began with prmtve.com--which sky rocketed our program, but there's plenty of changes being done.) Break the norms and the typical things we see in our everyday lives, be different "ITS COOL" lol. I mean it is to show our passion and love for art, knowledge, and fashion. But, I believe it's to bring back the quintessential artists in us. There's a lot of blogs and movements out there, but our true purpose is to just show growth and appreciation for what we love and do.

We gather withing the realms of art--- In every aspect of life there is art. And I want passe to be thought as a universal theme for a lifestyle, thinking (quite ambitious,but who knows)

We have styled/interviewed various artists.

But whats to come for the future are clothes, definitely the clothes--no dates, but we have the infamous brain caps to raise awareness projects and collaborations with different high end & streetwear companies. And other variations to create a better look for california and the future of our youth.

We are all a product of society, we conducted this for us to all fit in, change that and be different. After that you will complete an auspicious life.

OMG SHOES.

Everyone should know Im a huge fan of shoes. High heels especially, but I can definitely appreciate some kicks when I see them. After the Orisue BBQ, I headed to The Attic to check out the IM KING x Radii shoe collabo release party.
I have to say, I got MAD love for IM KING! The Party was tight, met some fly girls that were ACTUALLY nice and not some hater stuck up females. Much love and thanks for sharing the love.

Agenda

Yesterday I hit up Agenda Tradeshow in Huntington Beach. & the bad blogger I am, FORGOT MY CAMERA. Not only that, but I looked a hot mess. GREAT.

It was a pleasure not to mention an honor to meet the owners and teams behind the brands I love and respect. Hundreds, Tits, and SOO many others. Im kind of glad Hellz Bellz wasn't there, because I respect Lanie TOO much and would've been all starstruck and dopey. Maybe someday. Thanks to the Im King family for letting me hang out at their booth :)

The view was beautiful, the people were fly, the clothes were dope... WHAT ELSE can one ask for?

Orisue BeerPong-B-Q

Saturday the 18th was the annual Orisue BBQ, and this year they added a Beer Pong tournament! Hearing about this on my Twitter, and it being down the street from by man's it was pretty much a no brainer. Free food, free drinks, good lookin' people...It was pretty dope I wont lie. The cheeseburgers were AMAZING, the girls were cute, the boys were fly; Everyone had a good time.


I know he is tall, dark, handsome AND wearing TheMasses, but he's all mine sorry ladies;)

Fair Trade

Last night I hit up the world famous Orange County Fair in Costa Mesa with Maca from TheMasses and our significant others. We OF COURSE got funnel cake & hot dogs. We saw a HUGE bull, 6'6" tall, took photobooth pictures and enjoyed the ambiance. I was rockin' and reppin Hellz, and a cute big bow on my head. I love the fair, and I make it a point to go every year. Luckily it wasnt too crowded, and we werent stifled by the heat because we went at nighttime. ENJOY!
